A New View of New York

I’m learning to abstract urban subjects in my abstract painting class.  The assignment was to take one photo of something in the city and paint three different compositions using only a small section of the same photo.  These three paintings are of the New School in Manhattan on Fifth Avenue and 13th Street.  I love the wacky windows on this building.  I’ve included my reference photo next to each painting. See you figure out which small area of this photo I used in each painting?
