“Shower of Gold One” is an original cyanotype with light touches of watercolor. This bush with beautiful yellow flowers is one of my favorites in my garden for its brilliant cones of gold flowers.

Cyanotypes are one of photography's oldest printing processes. Its prints' distinctive feature is its cyan blue shade, which results from its exposure to ultraviolet light. I have used plants from my garden to block the UV rays and create unique, botanical silhouettes. Additional chemicals, dyes, and watercolor are added to create a truly one-of-a-kind artwork.
